Olive oil. Extra light. Rub it on as soon as you dry off after your bath. If you want you can use a scented lotion afterwards to get a nicer scent Its a great hair conditioner and a wonderful suntan oil. All natural and no chemicals. .
Try to use non allergenic lotion. if that doesn’t work try to see a dermatologist. Also, stress causes skin irritation and itchiness. Relax and always get enough rest. =)
Eucerin for Extra Dry Skin and Aquaphor are two really good products but expensive (some places like Wal-Mart make a generic or you can go to the websites and get coupons) HOWEVER, if you want to go cheap…..Vaseline (both of the other products contain it). It’s greasy but it is very effective for tight dry itchy skin. As another answer mentioned using Dove soap in the bath or other soap with moisturizing cream and decreasing the temp of your bath/shower water can really help.
I have experienced dry/itchy/tight skin and have finally found a lotion that works-Dove-Cream Oil Lotion for Extra Dry Skin. Makes your skin soft and relieves the itching and tightness.
Vaseline/Aquaphor/Eucrin all of these are way too greasy and did not take away the dryness, just make you feel very uncoomforatable. Also, don’t take hot showers or baths keep them luke warm and take shower/bath for 3 minutes. Good luck!
Dove Bath Soap and not such hot water in the bath/shower is what my doctor recommended. Worked for me!
You need to moisturise your skin. Aqeous Cream works for me because it is free of allergens.
Sometimes baby oil works on very dry, cracked areas but only when it is not itchy.
Rash Relief Powder with tea tree oil from Rapaid provides temporary relief.
Try using skin products for sensitive skin and always moisturise.
