A good face does not necessarily mean a beautiful face. There are various facets that make for a good and acceptable face, and here we talk about one of them.

Choosing the right cosmetics for your face is the one thing that is of seminal importance as far as the upkeep of your face is concerned. There are various factors that must be considered before you choose a particular cosmetic. Some of these factors or parameters are centered on the overall beauty effect, while other factors deal with the inherent content of the cosmetic.

Trial and error

For many people, the concept of choosing the right cosmetic for their face is based on a method of trial and error. The face is used like a laboratory, on which various tests are conducted.

As can be imagined, this is not the right way to choose, a product for your face. By the time, you end-up choosing the right one; your face might show all evidence of being harshly used.

Choosing the right cosmetic for your face

Choice dependant on the skin tone

The cosmetics that you select and pick for use on your face must match the tone of your skin and must go a long way in complementing it. For e.g. if you have a skin tone that is olive or chocolaty, then a darker foundation can be the best choice for you.

On the other hand if you have a fair skin, then you must go for makeup that has a lighter foundation meaning lighter tones. Such makeup will enhance your features and not wash them out or overpower them.

Don’t make price the issue

We have already talked about the importance of your face, and you know it better than us. Good make up can be quite an expensive buy, and in terms of cosmetics, quality is directly proportional to an increase in its price.

Many a times, people warn you with the fact that a high price of a particular item does not guarantee good quality, but this fact does not hold true for cosmetics. Saving money on your cosmetics might mean putting the complexion, texture, and the whole nature of your face in jeopardy.

It’s an undeniable fact that cheap make-up looks cheap. If you are looking to save money in this case, then hunt through various departmental stores, which might just offer you some great deals with regards to cosmetics.

With respect to skin type

People have different types of skin. Some have dry skin; others have normal skin, while there are still others who have oily skin. Do not use cosmetics that are only meant for oil skin, on a dry skin type. That would mean trouble in terms of skin irritation or allergies.

Harmony of colors

Color harmony, refers to the coordination of the colors of the cosmetic, with the color of your skin, and overall producing a well coordinated and acceptable effect. The cosmetic must enhance the natural color of the skin and must blend in with hair color, eye color, and of course, the skin color.

Personal taste

The cosmetics that you use must be a reflection of your own personality and not somebody else’s. This is because not all cosmetics and their type of use, suit each and every person.

Some people look good, if their face is heavily made-up, while others look downright ugly, if there face is heavily plastered with cosmetics. For many people a simple made-up’ natural look works best rather that an overt sense of having used cosmetics.

The ingredients

Many cosmetics use various ingredients that might adversely affect the state of your skin and your overall health. Such ingredients are very often animal derivatives, microbes, even petroleum by-products.

Their usage leads to conditions like allergy, dermatitis etc. Before you choose a cosmetic, read all that it contains, however, most of the time, you are unaware of the adverse effects of the ingredients mentioned on the pack.

Therefore, it’s important that you concentrate on cosmetics that have been made from natural or organic alternatives. The only drawback in this case, is the cost. They are quite prohibitive in terms of price, but well worth it.

Research

It’s easy to go into a shop and select from the cosmetics on display. Yes, if you have a clear idea about its benefits and know that it’s the right choice, then well and good. However, it would be a good idea to do some reading, and get some information from various sources, about the feasibility of using a particular cosmetic. Get a fair idea about the good brands from people around you and make your selection, only after carefully scrutinizing all the available products.

These are just a few tips and considerations, which you must think about before buying the right cosmetics for your face. But, they will definitely make your job a little easier.

Get more YouTube subscribers + likes Fast and FREE (legit): bit.ly Facial Seborrheic Dermatitis, commonly known as “facial dandruff,” is not a rare occurrence in today’s society. It is more common among men than women, mostly randomly appearing after puberty has passed. It is genetic, so you will probably pass this on to your descendants (and received it from an ancestor). It stings, it burns, and is a yeast infection mostly in the face and eyebrows. Why? Because it can, that’s all I know from research. This first happened to me about a month and a half ago, my face started getting red, then itchy, then flaky (worse than a snow storm!). Now it’s all three, it’s not a fun time to deal with, it lowers my morale at work (people keep pointing it out) and it just plain hurts!! I saw my dermatologist and he didn’t seem very helpful about it at first, but a second call gave me reaffirming knowledge about the topic. I researched it a little and now I know a great Over The Counter (OTC) remedy!! * Wash with Head and Shoulders daily (Equate “dandruff shampoo” OK) * Rub Ketoconazole 1% OTC (Equate Hydrocortisone OK) after shower (optional, has steroids) * Rub Aloe Vera 100% gel daily (“Fruit of the Earth” OK) INSTEAD OF HYDRO CORTISONE * Optional: Rub Cocoa Butter daily (“Woltra Stik” OK) Source: www.howtoadvice.com

Everything You Wanted to Know About Acne and Pimples

Acne is one of the most common skin disorders faced by a majority of teenage and adult population all over the world. When the eruptions appear on the face it can cause a great deal of frustration and inconvenience among teenagers.

If left untreated, acne can lead to infection, scars and blemishes that become permanent on your face. So it becomes necessary to reduce the recurrence of acne by taking a proper treatment to clear the skin and make it blemish free.

First of all let us try to understand the meaning of acne. Acne is a disease of the skin and is also called seborrhea or seborrheic dermatitis. It occurs when the sebaceous glands, under your skin, become contaminated with oily toxic matter, which contains dead skin, dirt, acid wastes, toxic matter, bacteria and excess sebum oil.

The sebaceous glands normally function by releasing oil that comes up through your pores on the skins surface. This helps in keeping the skin well lubricated and moist which protects the skin from the harsh effects of the environment.

If the skin pores on the face do not open properly or are plugged, this creates toxic oil that cannot move out onto your skin. This results in the growth of acne or pimples that start to increase in size as more toxic oil tries to reach the surface of your skin.

Acne can also produce scars and blemishes that tend to steal away the natural beauty and glow from your face. This happens when the pore walls burst under the skin and white blood cells move in to digest the collagen around the pores.

Once you start getting acne or pimples you should strictly adhere to a proper skin clearing programme which may reduce the spread of infection further and also save your skin from getting those ugly looking scars and blemishes due to the bursting of acne.

How can you get rid of acne?

Acne is a complex condition that affects many parts of the body even though it shows up early eruptions on the face and else where on your skin. It gives you the signal that something is wrong inside your body or your digestive system. Acne can be caused by a variety of factors such as a toxic colon, improper digestion of food, weak liver and other conditions that cause the blood to carry too much toxicity.

To clear the problem of acne you should take certain specific steps such as to increase your intake of water, have fresh green vegetables and fruits in your daily diet, make your bowel habits regular and try to avoid constipation by following a well balanced diet. You can also use a special cream formulated for acne by applying it externally to reduce the growth and size of pimples.

The recurrence of acne can reduce to a considerable extent and even vanish by following the above steps in conjunction with each other. A facial cream, diet, herbal treatment, and colon cleanse alone may not be able to clear acne. A combination may or may not work.

How to Prevent and Control Dandruff Problem Naturally

Dandruff problem can be a nightmare especially when we have to wear black or dark clothes. In severe cases of dandruff problem, the itching causes one to scratch the scalp which in turn leads to hair fall. However, this problem rarely leads to baldness. Dandruff is generally more of an aesthetic problem as opposed to a medical one. Contrary to popular myth, most dandruff problems are not contagious.

Most people deal with dandruff problem by using anti-dandruff medicated shampoo or over-the-counter ointments and lotions. However, they are sometimes not only ineffective but also exacerbate the problem due to the allergic reaction to the chemical ingredients in the products. In addition, some of these products are expensive because they require marketing and advertising cost to sell.

In this article, I am going to share some of the natural ways to prevent and control dandruff problem.

Causes of dandruff problem

Before we go into the details on how to deal with dandruff problem let’s examine some of the factors that lead to the problem itself. This information will help us determine the right approach to deal with the problem.

There are a number of different factors that cause dandruff problem. The production of skin oil, perspiration, dirty environment, excessive flaking of scalp, and hormonal changes are some of the most common ones. Dandruff is also possibly caused by other serious problems such as dermatitis, psoriasis, fungal or even head lice infection.

The natural methods of dandruff prevention and cure that I am going to share in this article are probably effective only for common dandruff problems. Chronic dandruff problems caused by fungal or lice infections and other diseases such as lice or psoriasis are probably best treated by doctors.

Natural prevention and treatment of dandruff problem

Prevention is better than cure. One of the best ways to deal with any problem is to prevent the problem from happening in the first place. This rule applies to dandruff problem too. Here are some natural ways to prevent dandruff problems.

1. Wash your hair frequently. Washing your hair frequently removes the flakes and also the oil on your hair and scalp. Use a regular inexpensive shampoo as opposed to the expensive medicated one. Contrary to popular belief, washing your hair frequently is not going to cause dryness in your scalp that causes dandruff. However, the frequency of washing needed to wash your hair varies from person to person. Some people only require weekly washing. Others with more oily skin probably need twice or three times a week. Some even require daily washing.

2. Brush your hair frequently. Brushing your hair also removes any debris from your hair which in turn reduces the dandruff problem. In addition, brushing also improves circulation. Brushing will expose more of your scalp to the air and sunlight which helps it ‘breathe’ so to speak.

3. Avoid or at least reduce the use of hair products such as styling oil, hair sprays, mousse, hair gel, etc. These products can cause the buildup of flakes on your scalp.

4. Massage your scalp while washing your hair. Massaging your scalp improves circulation. Many people don’t realize that it is not only your hair that needs shampooing but your scalp too.

5. Eat a balanced diet that contains all the necessary nutrition that your body needs. Avoid junk food, cigarettes, alcohol, drugs and other etc. Reduce the consumption of meat products and eat more fresh vegetables and fruits.

6. Avoid stress. Stress can cause imbalances in hormonal system which can trigger dandruff problems.

7. Exercise regularly. Exercise can make you healthier. Choose outdoor types of exercise that can expose more of your scalp to sunlight and air.

Lastly, there are natural products that are known to be quite effective in treating dandruff problem. Here are two of them.

1. Tea tree oil. Use tea tree oil as a mixture in your shampoo. Add a few drops in your shampoo before washing your hair..

2. Lime. Lime juice is also known to be able to control dandruff problem. It controls the oil buildup and gives a fresh sensation in your scalp as well. Apply some slices of lime or the juice of lime itself to your scalp especially in problem areas. Leave it for about 15 minutes and then rinse and wash your hair with shampoo as usual.

Benefits of GOS(Galacto-Oligosaccharides)

5842193867 18e88818eb m Benefits of GOS(Galacto oligosaccharides)
by MyFWC

Galacto-oligosaccharides, otherwise called GOS, are an important part of the diet of humans. They are the nondigestible, carbohydrate part of human milk. Galacto-oligosaccharides promote the growth of friendly bacteria in the small intestine.

Galacto-oligosaccharides are found naturally in breast milk but are added to foods such as infant formula, food for the critically ill, fruit drinks, granola bars, dairy products, breakfast cereals and crackers. Studies show that eating foods that have been enriched with galacto-oligosaccharides results in an increase in the presence of good bacteria in the intestine. The increased presence of good bacteria boosts the immune.

In addition to helping friendly bacteria grow, galacto-oligosaccharides promote intestinal health by keeping unfriendly bacteria such as E.coli from sticking to the walls of the intestine. They do this by mimicking the appearance of the intestinal walls, so that the E.coli attach themselves to the galacto-oligosaccharides instead and are then flushed through the intestinal tract. In that way, they keep E. coli infections at bay.

Galacto-oligosaccharides also make the body better able to absorb certain minerals, such as calcium.Other food s that help the body to use calcium include raisins and dark green andleafy vegetables. Calcium is important for building bones and teeth.

They and beneficial bacteria reduce the severity and number of allergic reactions in the body and help to maintain the integrity of the intestinal tract and prevent vaginal and urinary infections. They also help to regulate bowel movements. Galacto-oligosaccharides and beneficial bacteria also help to alleviate dermatitis and other skin conditions.
